According to WHO data, more than 321.5 thousand cases of measles were registered in 2023, with the disease continuing to grow in early 2024.
By mid-April, 120.3 thousand cases of infection were registered in the world.
The diagnosis of measles is based on the determination of IgM antibodies to the measles virus, seroconversion, a fourfold increase in the titer of IgG during at least 10 days, and the isolation of RNA virus from the sample.
In the framework of epidemiological surveillance and vaccination of the population, determining the post-vaccination immunity of the patient plays a key role.
